Patrick Kerrigan is a nudist in Ohio who has pictures of friends and family in the buff, some of whom are children. He was arrested and convicted under a law against the possession of material depicting nudity of a minor. A state court of appeals reversed his conviction. The purpose of the depiction of children was not sexual gratification. The material is not obscene and therefore protected by the first amendment.
