In an annual Halloween parade in York, Pennsylvania, anti-abortion protestors were required by city officials to march at the end of the procession behind the traditional last entry - the fire truck. The protestors sued and won. The city’s action was an unconstitutional time, place and manner restriction based on the content of the message. Their message was “horror of abortion, wickedness of Halloween.”
