The governor of Ohio signed a bill into law requiring all public schools to display any donated copies of the national and state mottos; respectively "In God We Trust" and "With God, All Things Are Possible". When it comes to government religious symbols, the U.S. Supreme Court distinguishes between impressionable children and adults. Under the first amendment, public schools may not sponsor religious messages. It leaves an unconstitutional impression there is a religion officially endorsed by government.
